What happens when it snows

We work through winter. We don’t work through everything. Here’s the line, so nobody has to wonder.

The policy

We service in cold.

Temperature alone doesn’t stop a route.

We skip when it’s covered.

Once there’s two inches of snow on the ground, there’s nothing to find, and walking a covered yard just packs it down.

We come back on your regular day.

We don’t make up a snowed-out visit mid-week. Your normal day picks back up as soon as the yard is workable, and yes, there’s more waiting for us when it does.

You aren’t billed for it.

A visit we skip for snow isn’t charged. You didn’t ask for the skip and you shouldn’t pay for it.

The thaw visit

The first visit after a long freeze is the heavy one. Everything that was under the snow is now on top of the grass. It takes longer and we don’t charge extra for it.

Want to pause for the winter?

If you’d rather stop entirely from December through March, say so and we’ll take you off the route and put you back on in spring. You’ll want a one-time cleanup when you come back.
